What IWKey Provides
API gateway and model access services
IWKey Gateway provides developers and teams with unified API access, API key management, model routing, usage metering, billing records, and orchestration for visual generation tasks. Users use text models, visual generation workflows, and related gateway capabilities through the console or API.
The service is delivered online. There are no physical goods, shipping, or postal delivery. Access may be enabled through invitation codes, manual review, prepaid packages, payment links, or written commercial confirmation, depending on the checkout page, quotation, or contract.
Nature of your prepaid balance
The balance shown in your console is service fees you have prepaid and not yet consumed, applied solely against your IWKey usage. It is not an e-wallet, stored-value account, cash equivalent or third-party payment product, and it cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or used outside IWKey services.

Terms of Use
Accounts and access
- You are responsible for securing your account email, login credentials, API keys, and callback configuration. API usage caused by user-side key leakage is the user's responsibility.
- IWKey may suspend or restrict accounts, API keys, payment access, or specific model access due to risk controls, abuse, unpaid balances, upstream limitations, legal requirements, or security incidents.
- Users must not bypass rate limits, attack the service, abuse bulk registration, or package IWKey credits as a transferable secondary balance, wallet, collection, or payment product.
Permitted and prohibited use
Users must comply with applicable laws, upstream model policies, IWKey's reasonable-use rules, and the data, content, and export-control requirements of their jurisdiction. The service may not be used for fraud, malware, unlawful content, unauthorized scraping, infringement, sanctions evasion, or other high-risk illegal activity.
Technical limits of the service
Because this service depends on third-party models and upstream resources that have inherent technical limits, and except where laws or regulations provide otherwise, we make no warranty that: the service meets your actual or specific requirements; the service is accurate, reliable, available, timely, error-free, uninterrupted, continuously stable or free of faults; or that generated content is free of defects, free of bias, non-infringing or wholly reasonable. The service carries no availability (SLA) commitment unless separately agreed in writing.
Service changes
Models, pricing, billing basis and charging rules, upstream providers, rate limits, and feature availability may change. For a paid but unconsumed balance, IWKey will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep it usable or offer a reasonable alternative, but gives no guarantee; if the relevant service cannot be delivered because of a change, suspension or termination, your sole remedy is to request a refund of the corresponding unconsumed amount under the refund policy, and we bear no other liability in damages.
After giving you prior notice by email, in-site message, platform announcement, SMS or similar means (notice is deemed served upon successful sending), IWKey may change, suspend or terminate the provision of the service to you, impose usage restrictions, or adjust discounts and billing terms, without thereby assuming liability. The same applies to any change, restriction, suspension or termination made by an upstream model or compute provider, and to any resulting unavailability or difference in functionality.
Video Storage and Content Responsibility
Temporary storage period
IWKey does not store the videos you generate by default. A finished video is delivered through the generation engine's own link, valid for about 24 hours; the authoritative expiry is the time shown on the job page or returned by the API. Once that link expires we cannot recover the file, so please download and save it within this window. If you would like this platform to additionally keep a 7-day copy, contact us to enable it for your account; once enabled, that copy is also deleted automatically at expiry and cannot be recovered, and in isolated cases (for example when platform storage is unavailable) it may not be produced at all.
Scope of storage liability
Temporary storage exists solely to help you retrieve your generated results. IWKey is not liable for files becoming unavailable during the storage period due to force majeure, a third-party storage service failure, or platform storage being temporarily unavailable. If this happens, you may contact us to regenerate the content or arrange another resolution.
Responsibility for submitted materials and generated content
In this section, materials means the reference images, reference videos, audio and other input files you upload or reference for image or video generation (plain text model calls generally do not involve them). You are fully legally responsible for the materials and prompts you submit through this service and for the resulting generated content. IWKey cooperates with regulatory requirements as required by law and may directly remove non-compliant content and suspend the service. The four clauses below set out that responsibility in detail.
1. Your warranty over uploaded materials
You warrant that the input you submit through this service — including without limitation text, images, video and audio in any form, together with every component contained therein such as music, voice, script, visual design and dialogue — is either original to you or lawfully licensed to you, and contains nothing that violates laws or regulations, infringes the lawful rights and interests of others (including without limitation copyright, patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights, as well as portrait rights, name rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, voice rights, personal-information rights and other personality or proprietary rights), or offends public order and good morals.
2. Authorisation required for real-person material
Where your material contains the likeness, face or voice of a real natural person, you must, before submission, have obtained that person's explicit and evidenced authorisation for the intended generation. That authorisation is obtained and retained by you; IWKey does not obtain it on your behalf, does not verify it, and the absence of a technical block does not constitute authorisation.
Any content-safety screening this service may apply to uploaded material exists to detect unlawful or non-compliant content and does not constitute review or endorsement of whether you hold portrait authorisation. Neither passing such screening nor a successful generation implies that IWKey accepts you have obtained the necessary rights.
You must obtain, retain and, on our request, produce all authorisations, consents and supporting evidence; you may not claim exemption on the basis that you did not read these terms, were unaware of the authorisation requirement, or that the system did not block the upload.
3. Minors
You must obtain all lawful authorisations and consents required to use and display a minor's likeness, voice or similar information, retain evidence of those authorisations and provide it on our request, and permit us to use and process such minor-related content under these terms. Where such content infringes a minor's rights, we may act on the content upon notice from a rights holder or on other grounds protecting minors' lawful interests, notifying you as appropriate.
4. Infringement liability and recourse
Where any act or omission of yours, any breach of these terms, of an upstream provider's rules or of applicable law — including without limitation infringement of any third party's intellectual property, reputation, name, privacy, portrait, voice or other lawful rights and interests — gives rise to complaints, reports, litigation or other claims, we may take such measures as laws and regulations require. Where your conduct causes IWKey to bear liability to any third party (including without limitation the upstream model or compute providers behind this service), to incur penalties from state authorities, or to suffer other economic or reputational loss, you shall indemnify IWKey in full for all losses so incurred, including our costs of enforcement (litigation and arbitration fees, legal fees, notarisation, expert examination, investigation and evidence-gathering costs, damages, settlement sums and administrative fines).
If you breach this section, we may issue a prior warning, refuse generation, immediately halt transmission, delete content, restrict some or all account functions, and up to terminating the service, closing the account and taking any other measures provided by law.
5. Ownership of generated content and risk of use
Provided you do not infringe the lawful rights of others and comply with these terms, you hold, to the extent permitted by law, the intellectual property and other rights in your input and generated content, together with the obligation to be responsible for that content. We claim no ownership over generated content and use it only as needed to deliver and support the service.
Because of technical limitations we cannot guarantee that other users' content will differ entirely from yours, and similar outputs may occur; accordingly, the rights you hold in your output do not automatically extend to other users' content. You alone judge and bear the full risk and legal responsibility of using generated content commercially.
6. Scope of liability and cap
Except where laws or regulations provide otherwise, we bear no indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive liability for any loss you suffer, including without limitation loss of profits, damage to commercial reputation, loss of data, or other tangible or intangible loss. Our total direct liability to you, on whatever basis and however arising, shall not exceed the total fees you paid us for this service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the liability (if any).
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, nor does it apply to our obligation to refund your unconsumed prepaid balance under the refund policy.
Privacy Policy
Information we collect
- Account information: email, login method, language preference, invitation code, and activation status.
- Payment and billing information: order ID, payment status, amount, currency, payment channel, refunds, and dispute records. Full card numbers are processed by payment providers and are not stored by IWKey.
- Usage information: API key identifier, model, timestamp, consumption, status, error code, task ID, and operational metadata needed for troubleshooting.
- Google sign-in information: if Google sign-in is enabled, IWKey uses only basic identity scopes (openid, email, profile) to identify the account. IWKey does not request Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other sensitive content scopes.
Request content and upstream forwarding
To provide the service, user request content is forwarded to the relevant upstream model or infrastructure provider. Request content is used solely to complete that call and for necessary operational purposes — troubleshooting, security auditing, billing reconciliation and abuse detection — and for no other purpose; the system may retain the metadata, statuses and error summaries needed for those purposes.
Use and sharing
We use data to provide the service, process payments, produce billing and usage records, protect security, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability. We do not sell user personal information. Necessary service providers may include payment processors, cloud infrastructure, email services, upstream model providers, and security monitoring tools.
Anonymous traffic analytics
We use a self-hosted, anonymous traffic analytics tool to understand overall website usage. It does not use cookies, does not collect personally identifiable information, does not perform cross-site tracking, and all analytics data is stored on platform servers and never shared with third parties.
Payment security
Payment pages should be served over HTTPS. Card and local payment information is handled by Stripe or another payment provider under its security and PCI compliance processes. IWKey stores only order, payment status, amount, currency, and necessary billing records.
Access, deletion, and security requests
You may contact [email protected] from your registered email to request account data export, deletion, privacy clarification, or security support. For security incidents, include [SECURITY] in the subject line.
Refund and Dispute Policy
Refund principles
- An unused prepaid balance may be submitted for manual refund review; approval depends on payment channel status, transaction state, risk controls and actual service consumption.
- Consumed usage, completed generation tasks and upstream costs already incurred are generally non-refundable.
- For period-based plans, cancellation stops future-period charges; amounts already paid for the current period are generally not prorated.
- Duplicate charges, clear mistaken payments, unauthorised transactions, refunds mandated by law, and a prolonged inability by IWKey to deliver the core service are handled under the applicable law and this policy.
- Send refund requests to [email protected] with the order number, account email, payment time and amount, within 60 days of the charge. We will approve or decline with reasons within 10 business days of receiving complete information; approved refunds return to the original payment method, with posting times set by your issuing bank.
- Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method; payment processor fees, foreign-exchange costs and bank fees may be non-refundable.
Refund timing
After complete order information is received, IWKey usually completes the initial review within 3-5 business days. Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment channel as soon as practical; the bank, card network, or payment provider may take additional business days to post the refund.
Dispute handling
Please contact [email protected] first and include the order ID, account email, payment time, amount, issue description, and screenshots. If a dispute is opened directly with a payment provider, IWKey may submit usage, login, delivery, and support records as evidence.
Cancellation Policy
Prepaid credits
If the current product is purchased through one-time top-ups or prepaid credits, there is usually no automatic renewal and no subscription cancellation action. You may stop using your API key, or contact support to close the account, freeze unused credits, delete account data, or request manual refund review.
Monthly cards, subscriptions, or auto top-up
Monthly cards or fixed-period access passes show the service period, expiry time, and renewal status on the checkout page. If there is no auto-renewal, the access period expires naturally. If subscriptions, auto top-up, or automatic renewal are enabled, the cancellation path, renewal period, and effective time should be clearly shown in the console or checkout page. Cancellation usually stops future charges, but does not automatically refund the current period, consumed services, or upstream costs already incurred.
General Provisions
Service provider and the nature of this agreement
The provider of this service is the Infwave affiliate that invoices you or collects payment for your particular order, as identified on your order, invoice or payment record; these terms form an agreement between you and that entity. "IWKey" is a service brand it operates and is not a separate legal entity.
This service is offered to businesses, developers and others using it for business purposes. Where you and we have separately signed a written agreement, order form or quotation, that document prevails to the extent it conflicts with these terms, and these terms continue to apply to the remainder.
Governing law and dispute resolution
The formation, effect, interpretation, amendment, supplementation, termination and enforcement of these terms, and the resolution of disputes under them, are governed by the laws of the mainland of the People's Republic of China.
The parties shall endeavour to resolve any dispute amicably; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before a competent people's court at the domicile of the service provider.
Set-off and account handling
If you owe us any sum or indemnity under these terms, we may suspend or freeze the prepaid balance and service use in your account until the matter is resolved, set that balance off against what you owe us, and suspend processing of your refund requests until the relevant claim or dispute is concluded. Exercising these rights does not affect our right to pursue any unsatisfied balance.
Changes, severability and survival
We may amend these terms from time to time; amended versions are published on this page with a version number and effective date, and material changes are notified separately. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder is unaffected. The provisions on responsibility for materials and generated content, indemnity and limitation of liability, refunds and disputes, and these General Provisions survive termination of your account or of these terms.
